Shew... the Holidays are finally over

Howdy all! I'm so glad the Tri-Holiday season is over.
Thanksgiving was ok. We stayed in town and had dinner with Trey's MeMaw and dad. Stuffed ourselves beyond the legal limit.

December was started out right with a days worth of snow fall. It was AWESOME! The boys got out and played in it. There was enough to make snow balls and people could even make honest-to-goodness snow men.

Christmas was a little more involved. The boys and I tracked down to Spring and spent Christmas Eve with my Aunt and Uncle in The Woodlands. Christmas morning we opened presents at Trey's dad's and then went to my Grandma's. That night we headed to my best friend's house and got to visit with her family for a few hours. It was a really good day!!
New Year's Eve we went to my friend's house in Navasota. A few fireworks and a big fire.... true country style.
We did have one new year tragedy. Our cat, Chicken, got hit by a car last Sunday right in front of our house. It was very hard for me. I hate losing animals and I hate even more to see them laying in the street. I know it was an accident... but still. I ended up putting at listing on craigslist and had 2 people respond for free kittens. We took both. I'm going tonight to pick up the second one. I just couldn't say no... however, I'm suprised Trey didn't!!
Anyway, I hope everyone else had a wonderful Holiday season. Now it's time for birthdays!
